Kira grew up in central Massachusetts and attended Union College where she double majored in neuroscience and classics. Her interest in veterinary medicine began after college when she worked her first vet job in a small animal clinic as a kennel attendant. From there, Kira went on to work at both mixed animal and emergency practices before attending Michigan State University for vet school. At last, Henniker Veterinary Hospital welcomed Kira to the team in 2024. In her free time, Kira enjoys trail riding with her horse and spending time with family and friends.
