Veterinary Technician
Rachael
Rachael grew up in Weare, New Hampshire, and graduated from John Stark Regional High School in 2005. She went on to attend Unity College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Wildlife Care and Education in 2009. Her passion for animal care began in high school while working as a kennel assistant at a local veterinary hospital. After graduating from college, she continued there as a veterinary technician, gaining valuable experience before joining Henniker Veterinary Hospital in 2019.
Rachael spends much of her workday on the road alongside our large animal veterinarians, caring for some of our biggest patients. She enjoys the variety and unique challenges that come with large animal medicine and loves building relationships with clients and their animals.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Danny, and their children, Oaklee, Penny, and Chase. Their home is full of animals, including dogs Whiskey, Tavia, and Bernie; cats Hades, Tux, and Jasper; and a small farm featuring chickens, pigs, goats, and her donkey, Daisy. Whether she's caring for patients at work or tending to her own animals at home, Rachael's love for animals is at the heart of everything she does.
